4. Everyday there is about 65 million different types of papers are being printed in the US alone. Almost 70% of this figure will not be used or recycled anymore. That means a lot of trees will be wasted each day just to produce a paper.

To do your part, you can opt to read news online as most well-know newspapers have websites, so if you want to save some money from buying newspapers, just check out the site of your favorite newspaper, I do this regularly and it has saved me so much. All these are just some examples of how going green saves you money . Keep in mind that you are not just saving trees and the environment, but money also.
